Let’s plant forests together!
- to prevent European deserts
- to bring back biodiverse healthy forests
- to help restore balance for planet Earth
Restore Nature Foundation (RNF) is an NGO with the mission to restore forest ecosystems and enable people to take regenerative action now!
We plant using the most impactful regenerative methods to bring back resilient forests. We facilitate educational events to spread regenerative knowledge. We support landowners through regenerative consultancy.
We operate mostly in Southern Portugal, one of the driest, most fire prone and degraded areas of Europe. On the frontline of Europe’s desertification processes, we use nature’s power to bring back the forests that were once here, and restore balance for planet Earth.
Healthy forests ecosystems are vital for:
- Restoring biodiversity
- Creating animal habitat
- Restoring water cycles
- Creating fertile soil
- Storing massive amounts of CO2
- Producing an abundance of food and the air we breath
- Regulating temperatures
- Creating food and natural resilience
- Restoring balance for planet Earth
Europe was once covered by forests. And together we can help them return.

restores forest ecosystems in Southern Portugal: one of the driest, most fire risky and degraded areas of Europe. Here, on the frontline, we are dedicated to use the power of nature to turn things around.
We empower local projects and land regenerators to realize regional impact. Together we work on regenerative solutions to combat desertification and restore nature.
Forests ecosystems are vital for:
